ePIPE restores HUD property piping and has water back on in 6 hours

The Problem

A local Housing Authority was experiencing repeated leaks in the piping system of one of their Housing and Urban Development (HUD) properties.

Property Owners and government agencies of rental properties face big decisions when leaks and corrosion exist in the piping systems of their rentals. Traditional repipe methods are destructive. Having water off overnight would require the placement of tenants in a hotel or other facility in order to ensure running water.

The Solution

ePIPE Restoration with same day return to service.

A Housing Authority representative contacted ePIPE about in-place epoxy lining as an alternative to a repipe. The patented ePIPE process restores pipes “in-place” with far less destruction than a repipe. The representative was informed that ePIPE restoration could be performed on units to restore the piping system in less than one day using ePIPE’s 2-hour return to service epoxy.

ePIPE certified technicians were able to restore the piping system, protect the pipes from future corrosion and leaks, and turn water back on for the tenants within 6 hours.

After the job was completed, a manager stated that they were very pleased with the work and product that ePIPE provided.
