Repair Slab Leaks and Protect Your Pipes from Lead Leaching
The patented ePIPE® process is like getting a pipe within a pipe without opening walls, floors, and ceilings, making pipe restoration mess-free.
How To Fix a Pinhole Leak in Copper Pipes
A traditional repipe can be time-consuming and expensive, usually involving cutting into walls, ceilings, and floors, as well as going days without water. Our patented three-step solution uses less invasive methods to restore metallic and non-metallic pipes without extensive digging, costly landscaping repairs, or restoration inside your home or building.
Air Drying of Pipes
First, we connect air hoses to the piping system. The system uses preheated, filtered air to drain and dry the pipes.
Corundum Cleaning
Once the pipes are dry, we prepare them with an air-and-sand mixture to carefully clean the inside of the pipes.
Epoxy Coating Application
The code-approved epoxy coating is applied, and once cured, the pipes are reassembled, flushed, and pressure tested. In most cases, water service can be restored the same day.
What to Expect for Your ePIPE Installation
Before our crew arrives, a member of our team will be in contact with you to discuss what is needed prior to the start of your restoration.
STEP ONE
STEP ONE
Problem Diagnosis & Preliminary Testing
Our technicians arrive early on your scheduled restoration date, parking their truck and compressor in the designated area to get to work on diagnosis and testing.
Your project manager will discuss the plumbing issues and address any special concerns.
Preliminary pipe tests are performed for pressure and flow.
Bottled drinking water is provided for our customers’ convenience.
STEP TWO
STEP TWO
Preparation
Once we know what plumbing issues we’re dealing with and how to best tackle them, our team gets to work.
The water system is turned off. Flooring is covered and protected.
The piping system is isolated and drained of water.
Shut-off valves, flex hoses, and shower stems are removed. If required, conventional plumbing repairs are completed.
STEP THREE
STEP THREE
Drying and Cleaning
Before we apply our proprietary epoxy coating to the inside of your pipes, they must first be dried and cleaned by our team.
The piping system is dried with heated air.
The sanding agent and corrosion build-up is collected in a sealed filter system.
The waste product is transported to an exit opening in the pipe where it is collected in a sealed filter system.
STEP FOUR
STEP FOUR
Epoxy Application
Our approved epoxy is distributed through the piping system coating the pipes. Once all the lines are coated, the epoxy is cured and water can be returned to service in as little as two hours, which is the fastest return to service approved in the industry.
STEP FIVE
STEP FIVE
System Evaluation & Reassembly
Once the epoxy is cured, final flow checks and pressure tests are performed, and the piping system is re-assembled.
The water supply is reconnected using new, top-quality angle stops, stainless steel flex connectors on fixtures, and ball valves where needed.
Complete system checks are performed, and the system is returned to service.
The project manager performs a final walk-through with the owner or representative.
