ePIPE® Protects Home Owners Association Water Supply Pipes with Same Day Return to Service

The Problem:

A 114 unit Home Owners Association located in Laguna Niguel, Southern California was spending thousands of dollars each month repairing leaks in the potable water piping and the water damage it was causing in resident’s homes. A method of Chloramine water treatment by local water utilities was thought to be adding to the problem of leaky pipes.

The Solution:

ePIPE restoration with multiple crew capacity using the patented ePIPE same day return to service lining materials and methods. ePIPE fast return to service lining is the quickest return to service lining material approved by NSF and the Uniform Plumbing Code for use in domestic water supply pipes as small as ½” in diameter, pipes that are typically found in most homes. 

ePIPE was the preferred solution for a number of reasons. The homeowners were fed up with multiple leaks and the associated damages, traditional repairs and the invasiveness of a re-pipe. ePIPE is far less destructive than traditional repairs and provides peace of mind with prevention of future leaks. Two trucks and crews were assigned to the project, which was completed ahead of schedule in 13 weeks. Water was back on for all homeowners every night.
