The ePIPE ® System Saves Money and Time and Proves to be a Huge Winner for Both Homeowner and Insurance Company.

The Problem:

This Southern California homeowner had just experienced the mess, destruction and disruption to their lifestyle by having their home ripped apart to repair a pinhole leak located under the slab near the front entry of this upscale custom built home. For the insurance company this meant an expensive claim. The home originally had hardwood floors that had to be torn out to repair the leaky water line running under the slab. Tearing out the floor meant a new floor had to be replaced, repairs to all the main floor walls, installation of new baseboard and a complete repainting of the main level. The homeowner and family had to be temporarily relocated to a hotel, all at the expense of the insurance company. A few weeks later and to everyone’s horror, less then 1 foot from the original leak, the homeowner noticed a new wet spot on the newly installed Travertine floor. A NEW PINHOLE LEAK!

The Solution:

The ePIPE® System of in place pipe restoration.

The insurance provider, AAA of Southern California contracted with a local ePIPE installer who completed the repair and restoration of the piping system, in place. The job was completed in 1.5 days. The ePIPE team did not have to cut into the new Travertine flooring or the freshly painted walls and the homeowner was not displaced.
