The Salish Lodge & Spa is an exceptional boutique hotel located above Snoqualmie Falls where Seattle’s elite visit to experience fine cuisine, exceptional spa facilities and a truly relaxing hotel stay.

The Problem:

Unfortunately, this very unique hotel had fallen victim to a very common ailment in the Pacific Northwest hospitality industry. Recurrent pinhole leaks in the copper domestic water piping system and the resultant damage and lost room revenue.

In spite of the difficult economy for most hotels through 2009, Salish Lodge had recently completed a multimillion dollar renovation and managed to keep occupancy rates high, regularly selling out over holiday and weekend periods. With the newly renovated surfaces in jeopardy and occupancy exceeding forecasted expectations, it was essential to resolve the pinhole leak problem immediately and to do so without damaging surfaces or shutting down the property.

The Solution:

Over the course of a 7 week project, the ACE DuraFlo ePIPE team employed their 10 years of industry leading hotel experience, using the patented ePIPE system to restore the domestic piping system, "in-place”. weekly cycle focused on a section of the hotel while the balance of the property remained in full operation and guest intrusion was virtually non-existent. Most critical to hotel management was the weekly return to full service by mid-day Friday so that the entire hotel could sell-out over premium weekend periods for the entire duration of the project.
