Background:

The "Regency at Mclean" is a premier high-rise condominium located in the Tysons Corner area of Northern Virginia. Built in 1977 the project consists of a 18-story building with 311 residential units, commercial units, and a health club.

The Problem:

The Regency's Board needed to address the facilities' leaking and aging plumbing system. With copper drinking water pipes ranging in size from ½” – 3”, a traditional repipe would have meant disruption to residents, costly repairs for reconstruction and painting, and a longer construction timeline.
