ACE DuraFlo’s ePIPE FRS potable water lining material has been tested and certified by the U.S.-based National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use in drinking water pipe applications.
The fast-cure ePIPE FRS material is certified under NSF Standard 61 for immediate return to service when used in contact with potable water in pipes with an internal diameter of ½ inch and larger. With a 2-hour cure time, ePIPE FRS helps make same-day water service restoration possible for qualifying projects.
For property owners, utilities, and facility managers, water downtime can create major disruption. The 2-hour cure ePIPE FRS product is designed for projects where potable water service needs to be restored quickly, often on the same day.
This makes ePIPE FRS a practical solution for drinking water pipe restoration projects where speed, certification, and minimal disruption are important.
In addition to NSF certification, approvals have been granted by the UK’s Secretary of State for England, along with approvals covering Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. These approvals support in-situ application of ePIPE FRS to both private and public water supplies.
ePIPE FRS is formulated to be applied as part of the patented ePIPE process, which restores pipes in place by applying a protective lining to the interior of existing piping.
By combining NSF-certified potable water compatibility with a fast 2-hour cure, ePIPE FRS provides an efficient option for same-day potable water pipe lining and return to service.
